Some of mine (the operative word being "some"):

"Drink down a bottle and you're ready to kill"

"Bound to cover just a little more ground"

"Dizzy ain't the word for the way that you're makin' me feel now"

"Jack Straw from Wichita cut his buddy down"

"I'd rather be with you"

"I'll get up and fly away"

The peak of the China Rider jam

The Saint of Circumstance jam climaxing before "Sho' don't know what I'm going for"

The primary chords returning at the end of Pigpen's rap in Midnight Hour, and not because his rap is ending, mind you

The first BIG single chord to start the coda, followed by an a' capella voicing of the words, "Sunshine Daydream"

Nice post..you list some great ones.

Also..

Bertha "test me, test me, why don't you arrest me!"

Promised Land..when Jerry chimes in.."Los Angeles, gimme norfolk, virginia.."

also whenever JG chimed in on Masterpiece, and when he closes up the jam during Stranger

When Jerry would chime in with the harmonies at those moments, like in The Promised Land, it would just bump things up that much more. Another example of that is when he would change notes and start singing a higher harmony in the "Sho' don't know" Saint of Circumstance coda.

These are the kinds of things I'm talking about in this discussion: the stuff that would really make you smile big.

I love that part of Promised Land when Jerry chimes in. Do you have a favorite version?

There's some satisfaction in the San Francisco rain
No matter what comes down, the mission always looks the same

People tell me it's a sin
To know and feel too much within.
I still believe she was my twin, but I lost the ring.
She was born in spring, but I was born too late
Blame it on a simple twist of fate.

Standing on the moon with nothing left to do
A lovely view of heaven but I'd rather be with you

(the moment the lights go down for set 1)

"The grass aint greener, the wine aint sweeter, either side of the hill!"

"Faring thee well now, let your life proceed by its own design, nothing to tell now, let the words be yours i'm done with mine."

"Recall the days that still are to come..."

"Moses stood up a full 6 foot ten, said YOU CAN'T CLOSE THE DOOR WHEN THE WALL'S CAVED IN."

"Won't you tell everybody you meet that the Candyman's in town!"

"don't tell me this town aint got no heart, when I can hear it beat out loud!"

(jerry doing the "row" at the end of Row Jimmy)

(the opening riff of Eyes of the World)

"Once in a while you can get shown the light in the strangest of places if you look at it right...The wind in the willows played tea for two, the sky was yellow and the sun was blue...strangers stopping strangers just to shake their hands, everybody is playing in the heart of gold band, heart of gold band" (and the journey jam towards Fire that follows).

Brent's 4-8-89 Blow Away rap and hearing Standing on the Moon for the first time in Atlanta 89 and suddenly while Jerry is singing "be there with you" a single bright blue beam from the stage illuminated me and my buddies lighting up a fatty in the nosebleed seats. The funniest part was my friend being so freaked out by the light he threw the damn thing on the floor. I still get a permagrin remembering the look on his face.

I would second many of the already mentioned...especially
"I would rather be with you"
and pretty much all of Attics

I would also add:

The opening chord for Terrapin

The transition from Slipknot! into Franklin's - it's the "anti-transition" - doesn't smoothly blend into it, but there's also no clear break

"nothing left to do but smile, smile smile" (might have been said already)

the opening notes to St. Stephen

transition from St Stephen to the Eleven

"One way or another
The darkness got to give"

and tons more that I'm forgetting

"Blacked my eye and he kicked my dog"

"Thirty-two teeth in a jaw bone
Alabama's tryin' for none"

"If I had me a shotgun, I'd blow you straight to hell"

"When I awoke, the direwolf, six hundred pounds of sin
Was grinning at my window all I said was come on in"

"Wake now discover that you are the song that the morning brings"

"Here comes Sunshine"

"Inspiration"

Many more, but that's what just popped in my head.

That Charlie Fogg was a sumbitch, wasn't he. One reason I'm fond of Tennessee Jed is it actually has a talking dog in it.

Well there aint nothin wrong with the way she moves
or scarlet begonias or a touch of the blues

If you get confused, listen to the music play

Spanish lady come to me; she lays on me this rose

The final Bm>F>G>C of the solo in Tn Jed - Ten-a-see!

The crowd being picked up on the stage mics in a SBD after (or during) a particularly hot Garcia solo

I'm gonna tell ya how its gonna be

all together..."Sing me back home"

Lastly - ba dum ba da - ba bum ba da da da da da
(hrm, opening notes of DS)

"Tumble down shack in Bigfoot County, snowed so hard that the roof caved in! Delilah Jones went to meet her God, and the old man never was the same again."

"And listen to the thunder shouting, I am! I am! I AM! I AM!"

"Sometimes the songs that we hear are just songs of our own."

"Goin' down the road feelin' bad, bad, bad.
I Don't wanna be treated this a-way."

Phil's bombs leading into The Other One. (I think everyone can agree with this)

Those beautiful introductions to Eyes coming out of pretty much any song.

Brent's solo during Little Red Rooster.

That point in Franklin's Tower where they all slow down for the "tell you where the four winds sleep" verse and they all come roaring back for the "may the four winds blow you home again" line.

Way more, but I can't think of any right now, might add some later.

"Such a long long time to be gone
and a short time to be there"

"You who choose to lead must follow
But if you fall you fall alone
If you should stand then who's to guide you?
If I knew the way I would take you home"

"I may be going to hell in a bucket, babe,
But at least I'm enjoying the ride."

" Sometimes the light's all shining on me
Other times I can barely see
Lately it occurs to me
What a long strange trip it's been"

"Well, the first days are the hardest days,
don't you worry anymore
When life looks like Easy Street
there is danger at your door
Think this through with me
Let me know your mind
Wo-oah, what I want to know
is are you kind?"
